At CCSD, giving back to our community is one of the things that makes us most proud. We consider it our responsibility to engage in meaningful and consistent participation to better the lives of others, especially those close to our studio. Highlighted below are some of the organizations close to our hearts that we support.

We participate in events for a variety of causes throughout the year and provide opportunities for our dancers to do the same. Whether it is a dancing event or not, we encourage our students to take part and feel the impact of their time and how much it matters to care for others.

  • March of Dimes

    We are avid supporters of Team Dominate, in memory of Domenico James DeVito and Mia Isabella DeVito. We participate in multiple events hosted by Team Dominate throughout the year, such as their beef and beer, the March of Dimes walk, and their holiday shopping day hosted at CCSD.

  • Dancing for Life

    The Dancing for Life benefit concert supports The FHAL Foundation and select charities close to the heart of our local dance community. The CCSD dancers have performed in this concert for over ten years. Dancing for Life will now contribute an annual donation to Girls Night Out in Miss Cathie’s memory. We love doing what we love - dancing - for such an amazing cause.

  • Girls Night Out

    The Girls Night Out Fashion Show Benefit has invited our dancers to perform since its inception, as Miss Cathie was a breast cancer survivor, prior to losing her battle with lung cancer. The proceeds benefit The Foundation for Delaware County’s Helping Women With Cancer Fund.

  • Out of the Darkness Walk

    We participate in the Philadelphia Out of the Darkness Walk in support of Team #AARONstrong. We walk in memory of Sean Aaron and Tom Aaron.

  • The Delco Group

    The Delco Group is a non profit that does special things for people facing tough times in Delco. We are proud supporters of this organization.
